MULTIDAY TOURS

If you have time, we highly recommend that you take the more leisurely approach to discovering Scotland and come on a  multiday trip with us. We can arrange trips from three to seven days with pick up anywhere in Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas. For multiday trips, we will provide the driver and vehicle and all the experience that goes with years of working in the industry. Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodation; however, our team will be on hand to provide all the guidance  you will need on accommodation options available.

3 Day Isle of Skye Tour

Skye is one of the most spectacular areas of Scotland and is a accessible from Central Scotland on multiday trips of there days and longer. Find out about Skye's mystical past, see the famous Cuillin mountains and maybe even drink some Talisker whisky.  

Day 1

Your journey northward begins with a first stop at Loch Lubnaig for coffee and views. We will then head through the iconic Glencoe, with the option to stretch the legs and have lunch at the local tavern, the Clachaig Inn. From here, we will drive through Fort William, along the Great Glen and head West to Eilllan Donan Castle for a visit. We will then head 'Over the Sea' to Skye to get to our for the next two nights in the main village on the island, Portree.

Day 2

This is a full day of exploring the wonderful Isle, tailored to you. We could head to the Fairy Pools, book on a Tallisker Whisky tour, journey up the Quirraing, hunt for dinosaur footprints in Staffin, view the Kilt Rock Waterfall or pay a visit to the Old Man of Storr. Skye is your oyster! (they have some pretty good ones of these too to taste...)

Day 3

Today, we will leave Skye via the unique Glenelg car ferry, the last manually operated turntable ferry in existence. From here, drive through Glen Shiel to Loch Ness, with the option to look for Nessie on a boat tour. From here, we head past Dalwhinnie Distillery and down to Dunkeld, Perthshire. From here, we head home, taking in a few last minute treats on the way.

4 Day Mull and Iona Tour

A stunning trip to the Inner Hebrides to visit the Isle of Mull with its famous coloured houses and the Isle of Iona, known as the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland. Also a chance to see puffins! 

Day 1

We will start by heading to Stirling Castle then onto Callander in Loch

Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. From here, we will continue west through the Trossachs to the spectacularly situated Kilchurn Castle and St Conan’s Kirk before arriving into Oban for the night.

Day 2

An early morning ferry takes us over to Mull for an explore and then onto a smaller ferry to Iona, the birthplace of Celtic Christianity, and ancient burial ground of Scottish Kings. There will be an opportunity to take a small boat for an optional trip to the island of Staffa and view the dramatic basalt columns and hopefully spot some puffins. We then return to Oban for another night.

Day 3

Today we head inland to Glencoe, one of the most famous natural landmarks in Scotland. 
From here you head north through Fort William to Drumnadrochit on the banks of Loch Ness. After lunch, there will be time for a visit to Urquhart Castle and a cruise on the loch before driving the short distance to Inverness.

Day 4 

Our last day starts with a visit to Culloden Battlefield before heading south via the Cairngorms National Park. On the way you might want to visit the Highland Folk Museum, an Outlander filming location, or Dalwhinnie Distillery. From there we will head home via the highland town of Dunkeld or Pitlochry.
